Meet Dr. Tosun

Dr. Yahya S. Tosun was a Professor and a member of the faculty of dentistry department of orthodontics at the University of Aegea, Izmir-Turkey. He completed his dental training at the University of Istanbul in 1984 and is a graduate of orthodontic program at the University of Aegea in 1989. He had been clinical consultant on "fixed orthodontics" of the department of orthodontics and a member of the council of education of the faculty.

He has published several articles in national and international journals. He has lectured extensively in Turkey and internationally on "Biomechanics in Orthodontics" and "Orthodontics in General Practice". Dr. Tosun has been working also on "Adult Orthodontics", "Invisible Braces (Lingual Orthodontics)" and particularly on Early Orthodontic Treatments (treatment of 7 - 8 years old patients). His hobbies are photography, traveling, wind surfing, sailing, tennis and volley-ball playing. Dr. Tosun is married and is father of two boys and one girl.
